Location
Cananéia is a charming town located in the south of the state of São Paulo, rich in natural beauty and local culture that is worth exploring. Not to mention the events that changed the destiny of humanity, starting in Cananéia!
Remember
The downtown is on the island, so there is the mainland where most of the outdoor attractions are located. There is the option of reaching the center via the bridge, or by ferry (Cananéia/Continente), the view is spectacular!

06:30AM to 10:30PM departures every hour from the mainland
07:00AM to 11:00AM / 01:00PM to 11:00PM departures every 1 hour from Cananéia
Don't forget to withdraw money for the crossing, for a car without a trailer the fare is R$6.15 on weekdays and R$9.20 on weekends and holidays.
A balsa funciona 24h, porém na madrugada os horários possuem pausas maiores.

Today you can access it via SP193 from Jacupiranga, leaving from BR116. The road is under development, but has always been used. It offers beautiful views and the opportunity to drive along the Peabiru road itself! If you have an AWD or don't mind a little bit of dirt or sand, this road is ideal! Another access is via SP226 from BR116. The route is longer, but paved.
